Rotherham Hawks Basketball Club has been involved
in coaching young players for 8 years. Both boys and
girls in the age range 5 - 13 years attend for the coaching
sessions where the basics are taught well and the youngsters can
practice their skills in organised competitions. |
Saturday mornings at the Thomas Rotherham College Sports Hall
10am onwards: Beginners
10am - 11am: Intermediate
10am - 1pm: National League Sqaud
Costs: The fees payable to the Club for the 2006/07 season are :-
Training fee £2.50 per session

Windsor Foodservice Hatters has been running for
over 30 years and has a flourishing junior section which welcomes
girls of all abilities from the ages of 8 upwards. The club offers
a high level of coaching at all levels provided by qualified,
volunteer coaches. It also offers a range of competitive
opportunities ranging from local participation leagues for the
Under 13s to the highest level of competition for Womens National
Conference League. |
The following sessions are run from
Eccelesfield School Sports Hall, Chapletown Road, S35:
Saturday 10am-12pm 8-14 years. All year round
Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm 14-18 years. August to May
Friday 6:30pm-8:30pm 14 years +. May to August (Beginner/Improver open Session)
Costs
Membership costs through weekly subscriptions and vary depending on age.
Friday session is £2.00 payable on the day. |

The club consists of a senior
men`s team competing in the Yorkshire Premiere League, with teams
at U16 & U18 competing in the Sherwood League.
The club also runs a very popular
development programme which offers coaching to boys and girls from
age 5 - 18. |
Weekly coaching sessions supported by `Just Basketball` Ltd, are held at the Warde-Aldam Sports Hall,
Yorkshire Residential School for the Deaf, Leger Way,
Doncaster.
Age Groups
Sunday afternoons, 3:30pm - 5:00pm - Boys and Girls 5 - 11 years of age (Primary School).
Sunday afternoons - 5:00pm - 6:00pm - U14 Boys and Girls.
Thursday Evenings - 7:00pm - 8:30pm - U16 Thursday Evening - 8:30pm - 10:00pm - U18
Costs
The fees payable for all coaching sessions is £1.00 per hour. Where young people are involved in U16 or U18 matches the fee is £2.00 (student) & £3.00 (Employed). |
