Nominations for the 2009 South Yorkshire Sports Awards

Nominations have now closed for the 2009 South Yorkshire Sports Awards, and short listing will take place soon.

All nominations will be put forward to their relevant local area awards, which take place between October and December (in Rotherham and Barnsley).

^{Rules and conditions of entry:
One nomination is permitted in each of the categories.
Junior Performer nominations must be under 18 years of age on 31 October 2009.
County/Regional teams may be entered in the appropriate Senior or Junior category
Club or school teams may be entered in the appropriate Senior or Junior category.
All members of Junior teams must be under 18 years old on 31 October 2009.
Performances between 21st September 2008 and 18th September 2009 are eligible.
Young Coach of the Year nominees must be aged 25 years or under on 31st December 2009.
All Young Coach and Coach of the Year nominees must hold a recognised National Governing Body coaching qualification.
Young Volunteer of the Year nominees must be under 20 years old at the time of submission of the nomination.
Nominations in all categories will be accepted from any organisation or individual.
The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All nominees will be considered by the South Yorkshire Sports Awards panel.
All nominees must be resident in South Yorkshire at the time of nomination.
It is the nominators responsibility to ensure that the person or team they are nominating meets all the criteria prior to submitting the nomination.
2008 winners are not eligible to enter.}
